Rihanna was my inspiration

You're all probably wondering why I posted a photo of Rihanna and her gorgeous red hair, well keep calm and read on! My graduation is coming up in a couple days and I'm wearing a white, sweet-heart neckline gown. Im pairing up my gown with some simple black and gold accessories. since my dress is white and my accessories are black and gold, my whole look won't be much colour and because I always like to be colourful, I decided to dye my hair rihanna red. I wanted my hair a bit brighter, more like the colour rihanna is wearing but it turned out like so;

But I'm not complaining, because i simply love it! Its bright and eye catching and will really pop against my white dress. I love being a red head and for once, I am excited to go to grad! I don't really know what I'm doing with my hair yet, Ill probably figure it all out tomorrow.

But anyways, quoting another lookbooker, "stay beautiful!"

I'm sorry the photo is of such bad quality but it was taken on my phone and in a bar bathroom so this is how it turned out.

Ever girl needs a little black dress, and that could not be more true! Tonight I truly live a "You Only Live Once" (YOLO <3) kind of night! To start it off, I got all dress up; black dress, black eyeliner and pulled out my red lipstick. Then my parents just look at me, and my dad tells me how I look like a prostitute. Thanks dad.....But you see, I had to get all dressed up to pass as an eighteen yr old. Where I'm from, the legal drinking age is 18 but however I am 17. So I need to glam it up to try and pass for an 18 yr old so I could go bar hopping! Which I ended up doing! A couple of my friends and I found this great place that doesn't ID and has an amazing atmosphere, so it is now our local bar for the summer <3

While at the bar, this girl was having he birthday party there with a couple of friends so she bought all the finger light things (which is on my finger), but I guess some of her friends left so we just took them! We went driving all over the city and brought our new flash lights with us (:

Then we went to a house party and just danced the rest of the night. It was a pree sick night, I had such an amazing  time!

But anyways, back to the outfit I wore to wreak all this havoc. I wore this LBD with my Urban Outfitters brown purse and paired it up with some leopard heals! And the classic touch of red lipstick ;) You can go check out my look on lookbook too!

So while I was posing for tese photos, my mailman came up and it was super awkward because he's young, short, has ratty hair, a beard and looks creepy. Plus while he was leaving, he looked back with this huge creeper smile on his face and says "You look BEAUTIFUL!". Like fml, ahahahahahahahahah.
I bought these crochet shorts while I was in Vancouver, and for a long time didn't know what to pair them with until I decided to pair it with a white top. Why? Because I love the way white on off-white looks, it looks neutral yet classy. Especially when your accessories our colourful. My accessories are my brown purse, a sky-blue ring and these peacock earrings.
I posted this look on my lookbook, but i might take it off because it aint doing as well as I thought it would.....grrr.
Oh well, hope everyone is  having a better night/day then I'm having!

Finally, it feels like summer! Ive been dying to wear these shorts for a while now but the weather has always sucks, but not today! I decided to pair it with my favourite mint blazer because I thought it add a pop of colour. I paired it up with a nude sandal and a brown bag because I felt like it neutralized the bright mint with the yellow.
And now about my hat, my new summer hat. <3 I found this hat in a thrift store and fell in love with it. It says "Corona Puerto Vallarta", and since I've been to Puerta Vallarta and fell in love with it, I bought the hat! I love it because it has bright colours and it's a little bit bigger then your regular summer hats, which will be great for the beach! Here's a better look at it:

A Rosie Riveter Look-A-Like

This is a photo of me at school, trying to show off what I was wearing. I'm wearing one of those headbands from American Apparel which has a wire on it so it can shape to the form of your head, and to tie it together, you bring both ends and make a knot into what ever you want. When I tie it together, I always try to make the knot look like a flower or something flowy and cute. I paired up my wonderful new headband with a fake-denim shirt which I also got from American Apparel, a pair of black leggings, and my grandpa loafers, a real retro look! Someone told me today I looked like "Rosie Riveter", the woman on the "Woman Can Do It" poster(photo below) :

I was gonna post a photo of my entire look on lookbook , but I didn't have enough time to take a photo of it because after school I went to the gym then I got really lazy, so the photo above was the best I could do, sorry...

Since the past week has been kinda rainy, and today is no different, I decided to dress casual but warm because my school is always cold. I decided to wear my Calvin & Hobbs shirt because it's a sweater and because I haven't worn it in a while. The story behind this sweater is that long ago, when my dad was skinny, my mom decided to paint Calvin & Hobbs jamin' out on one of his favourite sweaters. One day, they were taking a walk and a man jumped out of his car and started demanded to know where they had gotten that sweater because he was in charge of marketing and he knew that they weren't selling sweaters like that, so you can say that this sweater is one of a kind!

I paired up my unique sweater with a cardigan, skinny jeans and my grandpa loafers, super casual!

So for those who follow my blog, I recently went to Vancouver a couple weeks ago, and my shirt(heres another older post about it) and purse are just one of the many thrifty finds I found there!
I bought my skirt a couple days ago and fell in love with it due to the colour! It's a mixture of a sea foam green and some mint, I'm not even too sure if it has a name but i love it <3 Plus I've been wanting a long skirt for a while now so it just happened! The only thing negative about this skirt is that it's really really sheer, so I had to buy another skirt the exact same colour to wear underneath it. But oh well, the things you do for fashion <3
