The 60s Called, So What?

Shirt- H&M
Sunglasses- Forever 21
Shorts- American Apparel
Loafers- Vintage from Vancouver <3
So finally, it feels like summer outside and what better way to welcome summer then this retro look with high waited shorts! I love these shorts because for the longest time I couldn't fit in American Apparel jeans, but recently, I've lost some weight and can now proudly and comfortably wear their jeans! I paired these jeans up with my favourite grandpa loafers and this H&M shirt because I was going for this retro look. Later today, a friend of mine told me I looked like someone straight form the show "Mad Men', so I guess you could say my goal was achieved!
You can go check out this look on my lookbook ! :)
However, have a good night!

Ethereal

Blazer: Aritzia
Dress: American Eagle
Sandals: Aldo
Necklace: Sears
Purse(my favourite one): Urban Outfitters
Ethereal(adjective): extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world.
I wore this outfit a couple weeks ago, and I felt like the world "Ethereal" described it perfectly. I love this flower printed blazer because its so light and it just flows. Plus the colour scheme goes really well with this white dress.
My purse is from Urban Outfitters and I love it. To me,; it's elegant and classic, goes with every thing, makes every outfit a little bit more fancy, etc...I just really love it!
You can go see this look on lookbook so go check it out! :)
Hope you're all having a great day(:

YMCMB

Sweatshirt; http://ymcmbofficial.com/
Jeans; Old Navy
Purse; Para Mix
Flats; Payless
This is my favourite sweatshirt of all time because it's just so comfy and I am a huge drake fan. For all of you who don't know, YMCMB- Young Money Ca$h Money Billionaire, is an entertainment group which Drake is a part of, along with others such as; Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, etc...
But because I have a strict policy to never wear sweatpants or sweatshirts to school (because I have certain standards and views of myself) that I had to play up my favourite sweatshirt. Thus why I parries it with a collard shirt (form Aritzia), black skinnies, black flats and a bag with a brown trim to add more colour.
You can go check this look out on my look book, but not for long because I might remove it!
However, hope you're all having a grrreat day!

My Grandpa Loafers

Shoes; Thrifty Find
I know some people find these shoes ugly, but I love them <3 They are another one of my thrifty finds while I was in Vancouver and I found them in the Mens section...Oh well, I love them! They are unique and different, which is what I want to express with my style. So really, they're perfect for me! Also I love the tassels with the cold cuffs, adorable!
I pair my thrifty loafers with; leggings and a flowery sleeveless top.
For once, you can go see this look on lookbook !
Anyways since I'm feeling a little fancy and English, farewell! (:

Flamboyant

Shoes; Toms
These are my new shoes, which I got in Vancouver again, and they're Toms. I've been meaning to buy a pair of toms for a couple years but never really got around to it, meaning I was always flat broke. But while I was in Vancouver, I saw these Toms and fell in love with the vivid colours and flamboyant design. Also, the fact that my feet feel like they are walking on clouds helped sell them.
I paired them up with; a t-shirt with belugas on it from the Vancouver Aquarium, jeggings from Levis and my retro purse from Vancouvers Value Village.
If you haven't really caught on, but while I'm at school, my style mostly leans towards ''comfort''. Why? Because its school and who cares.
Anyways, have a good one! (:

Unicorns & Lions

Shirt from; French Connection
Jeans from; Abercrombie&Fitch
Necklace; Michaels
I also got this shirt when I was in Vancouver. What attracted me towards this shirt are it's colours, mint and light pink. This combination reminds me of ice cream and spring, perfect for the summer! I also really like the design on this shirt. The horses, also referred to as "unicorns", are extremely unique in my opinion and thats what really sold me the shirt!
I paired it up with a black blazer, lion necklace, jeans with wholes and some metallic sandals.
I didn't post it on lookbook because I felt like it was too laid back, maybe another time?
Well anyways, have a good one! (:

Haute Couture in a T-Shirt

Brand/Label- Defense d'Afficher
I recently went to Vancouver this past weekend and happened to walk into a thrift store and find this beauty! I was doing a quick scan of the store and this store caught my eye, it must have been fate! Needless to say, I love this shirt. I love it because the women painted on it look very haute couture, they look like they've come out of a french movie and I also really like the colours.
I paired with skinny jeans, bright yellow flats and a retro purse I got from Vancouver.
The whole look was very laid back being as I'm still suffering a bit of jet lags side effects. That's why I didn't post the whole entire look here or on look book.
Have a good one!
