"Red"y For the End of the World

Dress; ParaMix
Belt; ParaMix
Shoes; Nine West, Rooster
Purse; Vintage
I wore this look out to a house party last night and I also thought Id be heading to the club after, so that's why I wore heels, but I ended up staying at the party. (:
I went all out yesterday, like I went to the gym, got my eyebrows done and even got my hair curled! Which I will never do again, because I look like a poodle and it doesn't suit my rounded face....But hey, it was supposed to be the end of the world yesterday so I wanted to go all out and look my best. Also, the "end of the world" was a great reason to party and to go h.a.m. (For all of you that don't know what that means, it stands for Hard As a Motherfucker) I hope everyone had a great "end of the world" day, hope your weekend is looking good and happy holidays everyone! xo (:

Of "Corset" Is

Corset; Forever21 Intimates
Denim Shorts; American Apparel
Shoes; Jeffrey Campbell
I wore this look out to the club the other night, because Im not sure if I told you guys, but I am now 18!!! My birthday was a really long time ago though, but still, I AM LEGAL! Also, Ive been super busy with finals for university, so I was a hermit for like 3 weeks straight and now i'm finally FRRREEEEEE!!! So there should be more posts on the blog and on my lookbook, which if you wanna go check it out, click here. (:  But now that I'm looking at this photo, it looks pretty plain so to give it that exxtra sparkle, I would have paired it up with; my Michael Kors golden watch and maybe a studded gold bracelet. I dont think I own any necklaces that I could pair this with, but bracelets would just top this off! Especially gold, idk why but I dont think i'd pair it up with silver. Not the right colours? I dont really think there is much to tell you guys, my life is pretty boring....Im done with school right now, i got a week and a half off work (yes ohmygod, gonna quit that place asap), pretty much just drinking with friends and hanging out (:
But anyway, you can check out this look on lookbook by clicking heerrreee!! :) And I hope everyone has some happy holidays!!!!!!!!!!! xo <3

FIFTY FIFTY FIFTY

I just hit FIFTY FANS on lookbook! That's 5-0, not 1-5... But thats 50 different people anywhere in the world following me and my lookbook updates! Maybe even my blog...? This is so exciting, i've been waiting for this day to come! My next goal is 100, erhmagurd lets hope it comes soon! And the lovely person who brought my to my fiftieth mark is; Catia g. so click here to view her amazing lookbook style, then to hype it then proceeding to fan her! (: And also, click on right huurr to view my lookbook profile and show me some love! (: I know I'm sounding a bit cocky but this is just too amazing! Thank you to everyone who has fanned me and giving me all the hypes, couldn't have made it to fifty without <3 And to celebrate this great day, I;ve decided to post what I am wearing today, regardless of how I look....so warning; i am in a library and I am exhausted.

Grey Cardigan; American Apparel
Polka-dot Shirt; Ardenes
I tried to get a whole body kind of shot but it didn't really work..sorry...But I parked it up with super skinny and high waisted jeans that I got from Levis and to school, with my grandpa loafers butI might be going out tonight so I'll straighten my hair and pair it up with my new Jeffrey Cambell heels which you can see in my look "Love is Frightful ".
Have a great day e'ryone! I sure will (: xo

Love is Frightful

Scarf & Sweater; Vintage
White Shirt; Aritzia
Purse; Marc by Marc Jacbobs <3
Shoes; (some more! Jeffrey Campbells!
Here's my take on cozy and comfort look (: I wore this out to school and surprisingly, my (new) jeffrey campbells were super comfortable! I got my new jeffrey campbells about a week ago and I've only worn them twice; today and last week to the club! And I got my Marc by Marc Jacobs purse a couple weeks ago, all paid for by me! My first pay check paid for it and I love it so much! <3 You can go see this look on lookbook right here!
And I'm really sorry I haven't been on in a while, I haven't had the time due to exams and midterms and work and blah blah blah. A bunch of boring stuff, and also I think because I heard classmates of mine apparently read my blog and report what it says back to my mother.....Which means my opinions are restricted, can't say anything too mean or awful about anyone or else my mother will find out...Which defeats the purpose of a blog....but oh well. I'll keep posting (:
Have a great day guys! (: xo

WOWZA

So sorry everyone!! I haven't posted anything in so long due to everything that has been going on right now! I just started a new job at Value Village, which is a thrift store, and they always give me 8 hour shifts which is draining all my energy. And then, there's university! I just finished my midterms, but studying and juggling work took up most of my time. I am so sorry!! And to make-up for all this, I'm going to post some photos from my two latest looks; "I'm 'Fall'ing for you" & "Fear of Eternal Loneliness" (which are both on my lookbook ! )
Here's "Im 'Fall'ing For You" ;

I wore this out to my university classes and just for a nice and perfect fall day!
Now here's some photos from my look called "Fear of Eternal Loneliness" ;
But it seems like I deleted all the other photos of this look off my computer :( This post should be called "sorry" cause all I keep saying is sorry for being so forgetful!!! I wore this look out for; to go get my cartilage pierced (i'll show a photo below!), out to the club and then out to a house party! :) IOt was a fun filled day! Here's a photo of my piercing;

And here's a photo of what I wore out to the clubs on my 18th birthday;
Except instead of wearing heels, I wore nude flats because I knew my feet would start hurting and that I would fall over and I didn't want that to happen on my 18th!! And I also had my hair down, but besides that, I wore this dress, the clutch and the belt :)
But anyways, I hope you all have a good day  xo

One Hell Of A Mixture

 Denim shirt; Gap
Skirt; American Apparel
Sunglasses; vintage
watch; vintage, it's harry potter <3
Here's a better look at my watch, sorry it's upside down. :c

The lion is for Gryffindor and the snake is for Slytherin. My mom got it for me<3
And here's another look at my outfit;
I wore this to a friends family supper, which was delicious! They were celebrating the jewish new year so I was treated to some jewish traditions. It was delicious! Then after, we went to a party but it was really boring because we didn't know anyone there so we were just in the corner, being anti-social. Then we left and just kind of cruised around the city,which was fun! :)
This look isn't on lookbook because I thought it was too plain, sorry :c
Hope everyone is having or had a good weekend! xo(:

Starting Fresh!

So I just started my first year of University yesterday! And since it's a whole new universe and a whole new chapter of my life, I decided that I need a whole new look and that's why I dyed my hair back to its natural colour, a dark brown.
In this photo, I'm wearing;
pink pants from H&M
jean shirt from Gap
shoes from Rooster, Jeffrey Campbells
bag, which has a highland coo on it, from scotland <3
So this is what I wore on my first day of Uni! And this is my bike, which I will ride to school every day and which the security guard at my school told me no one would steal...thanks.
If you want to read more about my loves, my shoes, click here !
My first day at university went by pretty fast and I only had two classes! Basic calculus, which seems like it'll be hard because I learnt all the terms in french but I'll manage. And then Introduction to Ancient Greek, which seems like it'll be super hard because we will be getting homework every night and a test every week. So I might have to drop out of, which sucks because I really wish I could stay in the class and that I had the motivation to push myself to do all the work, but I just know I won't and that'll fall behind :( But besides that, it went pretty well! Every one at university was wearing coloured pants....I don't know what I'll pair up with normal jeans now! Im worried about that, hahaha.
You can't see this look on lookbook because I didn't think it was ''lookbook appropriate'' if you know what I mean.
But on an other note, I hope everyone is having a good day! have a good night xo (:
p.s this is for bloglovin, so don't mind any of this....

I'm just trying to figure out how to get a followers button/gadget for this blog so I can get some followers! (:

Kranberry Kisses

Studded Colar; Urban Outfitters in Glasgow <3
Cranberry Pants; Joe Fresh
Purse; Harris Tweed (Scotland <3)
Loafers; Vintage from Vancouver <3
I just got these "cranberry" coloured jeans the other day and I thought they went really well with this cream coloured studded-collard shirt and with my beautiful harris tweed purse. I wouldn't really say that this look is summer-y, I'd say if paired up with like a black or grey blazer that it would be more appropriate for fall!

I also paired this look up with my ugly loafers, which you can read about here, because I felt like the ensemble was too plain and that it was missing some sort of accessory with some individuality and "uniqueness" (which is totes a real word, now.)
So I wore this too a party tonight (which I was dd, like always....#ugh) and was pretty comfortable! The only thing is, the pants tend to lose their shape really quickly so they were looking a little frumpy and saggy in some areas which should be left alone.....Plus, I did a bit of walking and the loafers were not comfortable. I have some nice blisters developing. But oh well, beauty is pain! And I don't mind suffering for fashion <3
As a side note, "always be dressed as if you're going to see your worst enemy" by Kimora Lee Simmons. It just pop-ed into my head during this moment and will probably forever be engraved in my mind. Does that ever happen to you? Where something happens and you just have this random thought that pops in, so whenever you think of the thought or memory, the other quickly jumps into your mind?
Anywho, have a good night! xo (;

Now Do You "Sea" Me?

Romper; some store in Scotland, I can't remember the name :'(
Heels; thrift store in Scotland
As I just mentioned, I bought the romper and the heels while I was in Scotland. I bought them in a town called Arbroath, which has a full street full of just thrift stores and at the end has a little mall with a couple stores inside.
For accessories, I paired this up with pearl earrings and a gold ring with some fake diamonds on top. Here's a better photo of it;
And here is a closer look to the sea pattern of the romper;
I really like this romper because usually, rompers sinch in around the tummy area and I'd rather not draw focus to that area so I always look for rompers that sinch in around the waist which draws attention away (thank god!) from my tummy area and makes my legs look longer which is a really nice bonus (; Another reason why I now love (and not like!) my new romper is because it is 'sea' patterned which a lot of designers have on their runway shows! Plus, I feel like the sea is magical place and it is filled with beauty (as geeky as that sounds...).

I'm wearing this out to supper with my dad, some where decently fancy but not too fancy (if that makes any sense!) but if I want to play it down and wear it out with friends, I usually pair it up with coral coloured flats.
You can go check out my look on lookbook right here!
And if you're wondering about my hair....im growing out my bangs so that is why in the last look, my hair has been tied up and I'm waiting till my bangs are grown out a bit more before I dyed my hair thus why you see my roots.....sorry it doesn't look too good right now.
But hope you all like this look and have a great day! xo (:

You "Blue" Me Away

Blue Dress; Republic from Scotland <3
Clutch; BCBG
Heels; Nine West from Rooster
Wore this dress to go out with friends, and I wore the heels and clutch with my grad dress.
You can go check out my graduation look here on lb or here for on my blog!
And here's a closer look at my heels just so you can get a closer look at the pattern;
And if you want to go check out this look on lookbook, click here!I got this asymmetrical blue dress while I was in Scotland, and I've been looking for anything asymmetrical and when I found this, I fell in love with it! I feel like I can wear this look to the club but that I could also play it down with a pair of flats and a blazer. So happy with this find! <3
Sorry i don't have really too much to say about this look but I hope you're all having a good one! xo

Back from The Land of Scotts

So Im (finally) back from Scotland! It was definitely the best two weeks of my life. The scenery over there is just breath taking, and I know how cheesy that sounds but like my photos of Scotland don't even come close to doing it justice. I feel like everyone should go to either Italy, France and/or Scotland before they die because those places are so different from any where else. And I know this might shock some of you, but I fell in love with the food there which means I now love haggis. But besides me getting fatter in scotland (and not to mention becoming a temporary alcoholic while being there cause the drinking age is 18!!), I fell in love with the people. The scotts are the nicest, friendliest and funniest people I've ever met. Plus, since I went to Scotland with a group of people and these people brought family and friends, I met these great girls and built life long friendships with them, forrealzies. But anyway, I just wanted to show you some of the outfits I wore in Scotland to maybe give some one ideas of what to bring.
For example; in this photo I'm wearing my tan shorts (from Abercrombie), a crop top (from American Apparel) and my hair is in a french braid to keep it simple. I only packed this one pair of shorts because it was supposed to rain a while lot while we were in Scotland but it ended up being bright and sunny.
Whereas in this photo, Im dressed for the rain. Im wearing; my rain coat from Hollister, a stripped long-sleeved shirt from Abercrombie, jeans from Garage, paired it with my Burkenstocks and put my hair in a bun to again, keep it simple.
But since it didn't rain a lot during the two weeks I was there, I packed 2 dresses (just in case the group went somewhere fancy!). This dress is form Hush, and it's the same one as my look "Well Isn't That just <Peach>y" (which is also on lookbook, click here!)
But since it was supposed to rain a lot, I packed two pairs of leggings and a couple nice shirts, again just in case we had to look decent/fancy. So in this photo, I'm at the World Bag Pipping Championships and it was really warm out so I wore my leggings and my unicorn shirt from French Connection. It's the same shirt from my look "Unicorns and Lions".
These are just a couple of the outfits I had worn on my trip and I know they aren't high fashion or lookbook worthy, but I had to pack things for rain weather and I couldn't pack a lot so these are a couple of the things I packed. Mostly comfortable things, cause two weeks in scotland with my family and doing tons of activities, comfort is key!
Anyways, hope I gave some people ideas! Don't hate on my photos.....ahahaha bye xo

Long Day Ahead of Me

Hey everyone,
As I mentioned before, Im leaving for Scotland today and before I leave for two weeks, I just wanted to do one last blog entry to show you all what I'm wearing on the plane! Right now it is 5:25 AM and I'm already to go. I have a pretty long day ahead of me because I will be spending all today on planes and at the airport -___- But anyways, back to my look! This is what Im wearing;
This sweater is from Aritzia, brand TNA. Im wearing it for my busy day filled with flights because it's so comfortable and cozy I paired it up with ripped jeans and nude flats.
Anyways, I gotta leave soon to be at the airport, so long! (sorry if this blog doesn't really make sense, I'm a little tired....) xo (:

Hiatus

Hey guys, sorry for the un-planned hiatus from my blog! i don't know why but I just couldn't really find the time to write in it everyday, so I'm making up for it right now and just adding a couple [hotos of the things I've worn on this past hiatus.
In this photo (on top), I'm wearing my neon pink shirt which supports the Canadian Architects. Ive worn it in my previous look; Hispter Look

In this photo, I am wearing clothes! Im actually wearing a teal romper which I got last summer in Quebec from a store called "Ou La La". Here's a better photo

And then in this look, on top, I'm wearing my stripped long sleeve shirt from Abercrombie&Fitch. Its so comfy and I always pair up with my ripped jeans.
but I'm I know I just took a short hiatus, but I am going to Scotland tuesday for two weeks so I won't be able to post blogs but when I get back I will post photos and the things I wore in Scotland! (:

Hipster Look

Jean Vest; DIY Jacket
Pink Shirt; Supporting the Canadian Architects t-shirt so they can go to Italy to compete
Hey everyone1 I wore this combination out with friends last night, I paired it up with leggings, my flamboyant toms and these really cool earrings I got while walking around the exchange district.
I tried looking for a good picture of my earrings but I had a tough time finding one, but they're the earrings I wore in my "Here's A Fictitious Character" look on lookbook.
I also bought the bright high-lighter pink shirt while walking around in the exchange. I bought this shirt because the money goes to supporting architects from all around Canada by sending them to Italy to try and win this architecture competition. It's a really nice shirt because; I love the bright pink, the material is super light and soft and breathable and plus, on the front it has a couple white triangles and then on the back it's got white triangles everywhere. The white triangles symbolize something to do with the competition.....Im not too sure, the lady kind of lost me...
But huh if you're all wondering how my night turned out; nothing out of the ordinary. It was a typical night out with friends, which was nice because I haven't left the house all week and have been watching movies by myself...
However, I hope you're all going out there and taking advantage of summer and havin a blast with your friends! xo (:

DIY Denim Vest !!!! (Bleached&Frayed)

So for a while now I've been seeing a ton of denim jackets with the acid wash patterns, and especially denim vests. Any kind of denim but with the frayed, "beat up" kind of look. So today I decided to take my denim jacket from American Eagle, which was too big and to turn it into a denim vest with a street style edge. To get this edge, i'm going to; bleach the jacket, cut the sleeves and fray where they used to be and to top it off, put studs on the shoulder and maybe the pockets. Now here's what my jacket looked like before(the picture made it lighter then it really is...);

Now first things to do for BLEACHING;
1) Get everything ready before you start the bleaching process (so before the fun begins). This means you should have a pail filled with water, half a litter of vinegar beside it (explain why later), a little bit of soap besides the pail too, your bleach in a spray bottle (preferably one with different spray functions) and gloves.
2) You're going to dunk your denim item in the water (make sure everything is wet) then wait a bit till it is damp
3) When it is damp (with your gloves on!), start spraying your bleach in any form of pattern you want. *But because denim is such a thick material, if you want to bleach a part of it to make it turn white or almost white, you may need to spray a lot of bleach on that one area.
4) And now you wait and keep a watchful eye on your denim. While you're waiting you can start pouring in the vinegar and soap into your pail.
5) When your denim item has reached its bleached perfection, then you dunk it in your water-mixture and mix! *You need to add in the vinegar because the vinegar will stop the bleach from eating through your clothes.
6) And then you start bleaching the back! Once you're done, just soak it into your water mixture and then rinse it in your washer (add some vinegar in that too just to be safe!)
To bleach my denim vest, it only took 1h altogether(not too bad!). Here's how the front of mine turned out!!
And heres the bottom! (Going to cut the sleeves off)
Im actually pretty happy with the pattern and the colours that turned out! And heres a photo without the sleeves;
You can't really tell in the photo but I frayed the edges of the arms and the collar. Here's the video I watched to learn how to fray them; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmkV6zb2N5s
And I really wanted to add studs onto the shoulders of my vest, like spikes, but I looked everywhere and I couldn't find any!! :'( </3 But if you guys find some, you should definitely add them to really completely the look! Here's what I paired my denim vest with;

And you should comment/message me either here or via my lookbook and show me how your denim project turns out! I'd love to see what y'all come up with (: Plus this look (on top) is on my lookbook o go check it out too!
cya, hope to hear from youzz! xoxo

One of Those Days

Do you ever have one of those days where you just don't know what to wear? And you look through your mess of a room to find just the perfect outfit for your day? One that'll work in the heat, that'll look good and that'll grab peoples attention? But you just can't find it?! I am having one of those god awful days today! Im going walking around today in the exchange district, which is full of super hip, chic, vintage-y and trendy people so I'm tryna find the perfect ensemble for it. Luckily for me, I know the cure for one of these days. All ya gotta do is look through all your old clothing and find something there! Because re-wearing your old clothing is like getting the jackpot. Your friends haven't seen it in a while so they all think it's new so you'll be getting compliments all day ;) So for today, I'm wearing my vintage find of a Dim Mac shirt with shiny leggins, and because I wanna stay comfortable, Im either wearing my Jeffery Campbells or just birkenstocks.

And another thing I'm going to try and do today is ; create a denim vest. What I'm going to be doing later is cutting off the sleeves of my denim jacket, bleaching the jacket on some spots to get that "acid wash" effect and then getting studs and gluing them on the shoulder. DYI denim vest, just the way I want it :) So i'lll show you guys photos of my creation after! ;) xoxo

Return to Civilization !

Im going out to supper with friends tonight, going out to Moxies so Im wearing my white tank top silk shirt from Aritzia.
I chose to tittle this look "Return to Civilization" because all week I've been out in the woods, at my cabin without internet or service. So my first day back in to the city, why no go out to supper and get all dressed up? Maybe catch a movie later and have some wine? Who knows :)
Im trying to post more photos of my shirt, which I paired up with black shiny leggings and my Jeffery Cambells mint persian slippers. If you wanna get a better look at my Jeffery Campbells, go check out my previous blog entry titled "Well Isn't That Just 'Peach'y". This look isn't on lookbook because I felt like it was too simple for lookbook but you can go check out my lb profile!

Anyways, that's all for now! Have a good one xoxo

Job Interview !

Im on my way to a group interview at Gap, and this is what I'm wearing to it;
Dress; Urban Outfitters
Blazer; Aritzia
Except I paired it with nude flats instead of sandals because I have ugly toes and I took away the belt to keep it simple. You can go check this look out on lookbook, it's one of my old looks so just click on the link to go hype it! (:
So my interview was decent, it was like one of those tests where you just don't know how you did but you just kind of feel neutral about it. It was a group interview, as I mentioned before, so it was me with 5 other people. There were 2 or 3 that were really nice, qualified and had charisma so one of them will probably get the job. And the other 2 were just like me; forgettable. But through and through, let's hope I got the job cause I need one! So wish me luck! xo (:

Visiting Family

Hey guys, Im going out of town for a couple days to go visit family so I will probably not be posting or updating my blog very much, but I decided to post what Im wearing on my long road trip to visit the family! Im wearing my white tank top with lace collar from Hollister, paired up with ym daisy highwaisted shorts from Forever 21 and nude sandals(look bellow);
Heres my top!
And here are my shorts! The reason I decided to wear this on my road trip is because the shorts are so comfy, and comfort is key when I'll be driving for more then 10 hours.... And also because it looks really cute together, very summer but also I could wear this out for supper when I get to the fams house (:
Anyway, talk to you all very soon! xo <3
